Privacy addendum

How the Exchange handles personal information, in addition to the Broadcastwell privacy policy.

What this covers

This addendum explains how the Broadcastwell Exchange handles personal information. It adds to the Broadcastwell privacy policy at broadcastwell.com/privacy.

What we collect

Your email address, to sign you in and send the emails you choose. The display name, optional headline and optional link you enter. What you post, what you mark useful, what you follow and your email preferences. If you link an application, the application email, the role you name and your consent. First party counts of activity, kept on our own systems, with no third party analytics.

Signing in with Google

If you continue with Google we receive your email address and whether Google has verified it. We do not import your Google name or photo.

What is public

Your display name, optional headline and link, the month you joined and your public contributions. Contributions marked Broadcastwell only are visible to you and the Broadcastwell team, and to recruiters only if you link an application and consent. Your email address is never shown.

Recruiters

Recruiters see contributions only for members who linked an application and consented. You can withdraw consent at any time in your settings. Nothing about any application is ever public.

Keeping and deleting

Removed content is kept privately for appeals. You can export your account data, which includes your Exchange data, and you can delete your account, which erases the text of your contributions.

Cookies

The Exchange sets a sign in session cookie and short lived security cookies. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies.
