Community terms

The terms for taking part in the Broadcastwell Exchange. They add to the Broadcastwell terms at broadcastwell.com/terms.
Who can take part
You must be 18 or older. Use one account, with an email address you control. Your display name can be your real name or a pseudonym, but it must not impersonate another person or organization.
Your contributions
You keep ownership of what you write. By posting you give Broadcastwell LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty free license to host, display and organize your contributions on the Exchange, including in feeds, search, the Featured strip and contribution records. Any reuse outside the Exchange, such as the Broadcastwell company page or newsletter, happens only after you agree to the exact excerpt.
What not to post
No confidential information about a client or an employer, no personal data about other people, no spam, harassment or unlawful content, and nothing you do not have the right to share. Mark hypotheticals as hypotheticals and link your sources.
Publishing and moderation
Posts publish immediately. A small set of automatic checks may hold a post for a person to look at. Moderators may hide, remove or lock content and suspend accounts that break these terms, and every action is recorded. To appeal a decision, write to hello@broadcastwell.com.
Applicants
Taking part is optional and separate from any application. It is never counted against anyone. Recruiters see your contributions in the context of an application only if you link your application and consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. Nothing about any application is ever public here.
No professional advice
Contributions are the views of the people who write them. Nothing on the Exchange is professional advice, and Broadcastwell makes no promise about any outcome.
Deleting
You can delete your own contributions at any time. Deleting your account erases the text of your contributions; where others replied, a neutral marker reading "Contribution removed" stays so their replies keep their context.
